Benjamin Rivera

Speaker Bio

Benjamin has more than 10 years in information security, currently managing both the Threat Research and the Training teams under the Core Technology operations group at TrendLabs, the global technical support and R&D center of Trend Micro. He oversees the research projects and the training and development courses of the engineers to further build expertise in the constantly changing threat and technology landscape. He has previously managed several teams that handle critical incident and threat response, heuristics, and advanced threat analysis.​​

He has spoken in international conferences such as the Association of Anti-Virus Asia Researchers (AVAR), and is contributor for the TrendLabs Security Intelligence blog. He holds a degree in Applied Mathematics and is a co-inventor of two patents approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office:
