Talk Title
Engineering Better Security at Facebook
Abstract
Information security is critical for organizations at every size. It’s unrealistic to expect every engineer to be a security expert, so helping developers create secure code by default can make a big difference. This talk will discuss real-world security issues related to vulnerability prevention and detection and how Facebook helps engineers write better code through tooling.
Speaker Bio
Karen Sittig is a Software Engineer at Facebook, where she develops software that help Facebook address organization-wide security issues.
