Maya Nair

Bio

Maya R. Nair heads the Information Security function at Idea Cellular Limited (ICL). She is responsible for the Information Security strategy, Operations, governance and compliance of ICL. She manages the ISMS, BCMS and Privacy frameworks of ICL, along with the Security operations, SOC operations, Threat Intelligence and Digital forensics. Prior to joining ICL, Maya was heading Security Operations at Reliance Jio Infocomm. Her earlier stints include CIBIL and L& T where she was managing Datacenter Infrastructure and Information Security. Maya has over 18 years of experience in IT and Information Security. Her academic accomplishments include M.Tech in Software Systems from BITS Pilani, B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science & Technology, PG Diploma in Finance management from Symbiosis Pune, CISA, ISMS LA, BCMS LI and ITIL V3 Foundation. She participates in technology & security discussions and is a part of many professional forums. In her personal capacity, she also works with Kerala Police in their cyber security initiative Cyberdome in spreading cyber security awareness among masses.
