Somenath Kundu

Bio:

Some Nath Kundu is a Senior Manager in Project Engineering-C &I Dept. of NTPC Limited in its Engineering Office Complex, based in Noida. He has been involved in the engineering of many thermal power plants as well as factory testing of many DCS systems. His focus areas are engineering of control system networking, HMI engineering, Third party interfacing & OPC,

cybersecurity including cyber system audit and Digitalization processes. He has also worked as a C&I Maintenance Engineer in Korba Super Thermal Power Station (KSTPS), NTPC.

He has authored papers for national and international conferences like ISA and International O&M conference organized by NTPC Limited. He has been involved in the preparation of the Indian manual for Cyber Security in Power

Systems. He received the B.Sc degree in Physics Honours from the University of Calcutta and Control & Instrumentation Engineering Degree (B.Tech) from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India.
