Bio:

Shri Satish Chandra Jha, Chairman, National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO), is an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer of 1981 batch. He has extensive experience in the fields of Investigation, Security and various other aspects of Law Enforcement in different theatres. He has held several sensitive assignments in CBI, IB, and NTRO related to intelligence in all its aspects, including technical intelligence. He has also worked with the Ministry of External Affairs as Minister in Embassy of India, Berlin. Shri Jha has been awarded Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 1998 and President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 2006. His hobbies are playing golf and reading books.
