null is one of the most active, open security communities in India with presence in Singapore and Amsterdam. Registered as a non-profit society in 2010 null has been active even since before that. One of the main objectives of null is to spread information security awareness. null has many chapters through out India with one in Singapore and Amsterdam. All null chapters are driven by volunteers passionate about infosec information sharing and collaborating. null has various activities such as null monthly meetings, highly technical hands-on workshops and sessions called null humla (offensive), null bachaavi (defensive) and null Puliya (literally meaning a Bridge - The idea is to provide background in a technology for a specific security subject for example teaching x86 assembly to prepare participants for exploitation workshops) that happen in all the null chapters. In a calendar year null chapters host about 100+ events across security domains and impact about 4000 to 6000 security professionals, enthusiasts and beginners with its initiatives.
