Bio:

Dominic Couture After spending the first part of his career in software engineering with a strong interest for hacking and secure coding practices, Dominic Couture is now working in application security as a staff security engineer at GitLab.

With both software defects and vulnerabilities the interesting challenges remain the same: detecting them as early as possible in the process, creating training material on how to avoid them, finding holistic solutions to eradicate bug classes and automating as much as possible.

Dominic is also involved in GitLab's bug bounty program and is a bug bounty hunter himself which puts him in a good position to understand the needs of both parties and develop a program that's fair to hackers and provides great value to the company
