Post Quantum Cryptography Algorithms and Architectures for Emerging 5G Network Security

Abstract:

Our session is a comprehensive workshop on the fundamentals and frontiers of post-quantum cryptography from its origins. It will lay out the necessities of post-quantum cryptography in the emerging challenges and contours of quantum computers and quantum algorithms to the world of information communication technologies. Post Quantum Cryptography is very distinct and diverse in comparison to the classic cryptography schemes in the use of advanced mathematics and assumptions. Our session will take a closer look at telecommunication networks and the internet of things and cloud computing systems as they will be one of the major attacks from quantum computing powered adversaries as the 5G networks and IoT systems will be powering most of our healthcare and financial infrastructure in the near future. Hence our session is a focused facade of Post Quantum Cryptography tools and techniques tailored for telecommunication networks, cloud computing systems, and IoT devices.

Bio:

Gokul Alex is a Quantum Computing, Post Quantum Cryptography and Differential Privacy expert with over 20 years of experience in designing world-class enterprise architectures for Government & Public Sector, Banking, Financial Services, Retail, Telecom, Healthcare, Energy & Utility, Electronics Industry sectors, and building Digital Innovation Labs for Fortune 500 MNCs such as PwC, EY, IBM, UST Global, etc. He is currently the Chief Digital Officer of BTCD Ltd, a Blockchain StartUp Advisory Services Company. He is also the Chief Product Officer of Spherium Labs, a Decentralised Finance Platform creating a coherent circular economy. He has joined Spathion Labs as the CIO focusing on FinTech and RegTech. He is also guiding blockchain entrepreneurs across the world through the international venture capital platform Blockchain Founders Fund.

He is the founder of EPIC Knowledge Society, one of the largest emerging technology and exponential entrepreneurship-focused non-profit organization serving thousands of engineers and educators across the world. He is the chief scientist of Fusion Ledger, a Distributed Ledger Technology for Decentralised Data Stream Management.
