Bio

With more than 16 years of experience in Information Technology enablement in the manufacturing sector, Keyur has been associated with Essar since 2001 and has led major initiatives for the organization in various domains in different capacities.

He has been a strategic executive in global planning, capacity/cost projections, IT Governance, Designing and Implementing the IT infrastructure strategy roadmap.

Keyur in his role as the CIO for Essar Ports and Shipping business, he works very closely with business teams, ensuring IT becomes a seamless integral part of the business, and focusing to align the digitization journey with the business strategic roadmap to deliver value and effectiveness.

He has also been heading Network, Telecom and Information Security domains across Essar Group that has Diversified Business like Steel, Power, Energy, Ports, Shipping, Telecommunications, BPO, Retail, and EPC. With Operations in more than 15 countries, the group employs 8000 people and has revenues of over US $ 15 billion.

He is one of the key members of the Essar - Group CIO Office Senior leadership team, Essar Global Information Technology Committee (GITC), has been Technical Advisory Board member and Jury member for many Organisations.

He is an active Rotarian, Harmonica Player, avid reader, and writer. He has been conferred with many prestigious Awards across the industry, has been an active Speaker & Panelist at many Industry conferences and has been featured in many leading IT Magazines.
