Speaker Bio

Vinayak Hegde is an independent consultant with expertise in areas of big data systems (Hadoop ecosystem and databases) and large network systems (CDNs and geographically distributed services). Over his 15+ years career in the industry, he has held senior technical leadership roles in Inmobi, Akamai and Helpshift. He has built and secured multi-datacenter large scale systems from scratch at several firms. He is an active contributor to the IETF in the applications, transport and operations areas. He is an avid photographer and traveler.
