Automate Your Whatsapp Chats

Abstract:

Ever gotten tired of sending texts or replying back to your Whatsapp messages? Well, this talk has something to fix it for you.

In this session, we will be learning everything you need to know in order to automate WhatsApp chats on your Android device.

We will begin by understanding Accessibility Services on Android, how to use them, create a sample app live demonstrating the automation of WhatsApp chats, and learn how this feature is being exploited by attackers. You'd leave the session knowing a cool trick to automate practically anything on Android.

Bio:

Aditi Bhatnagar is an Independent Security Researcher who focuses on Android security, AWS security, web apps, and wireless network attacks. She is currently working as a Product Security Engineer at Atlassian and has previously worked as a Core Engineer building features for end point security products at Microsoft. Through her initiative, Infinite Hacks, she is spreading cyber awareness. She has conducted training and initiated discussions on cybersecurity, digital rights, and techno-sociology. She’s an avid blogger and publishes posts on cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and several aspects of the evolving relationship between humans and technology on her website.
