Bio:

Varun is the Chief Information Security Officer of Airtel leading teams responsible for ensuring security, privacy and resiliency of Airtel’s networks and digital services that serve over 450 million customers globally. Varun also leads Airtel Secure, a leading provider of cyber security services helping customers with their most pressing cyber security needs.

Prior to joining Airtel, Varun was the global Chief Security Officer (CSO) for Micron Technologies, a leading semi-conductor company based out of San Jose, California. He set up Micron’s Intellectual Property protection program across digital and physical environments along with modernizing their entire security program to keep up with the latest threat landscape. Varun was also the CSO of Veritas Technologies and set up their cyber and physical security programs from the ground up.
